Saturday, June 18th 2022 was a beautiful day for the Arp’s wedding! The sky was clear, the temperature was perfect, and everyone was smiling and happy. Even the venue was great. With two ponds and the surrounding woods it was like a picture-perfect fairytale.
I met Heather and Kile last year when they reached out to schedule a consultation with me because they were interested in hiring me as their wedding photographer. I did the consultation with Heather and we talked about their soon-to-be wedding day and everything they were looking for. Heather told me they found me when I was shooting a friend’s wedding she had attended. Heather’s wedding date is June 18th, but at the end of the consultation she asked if I also had July 9th available because her twin sister was interested in hiring me too! That was so cool to me because that meant I’d get to work with the family twice! It always is an honor when you work with the same family more than once!
Kile is musical, and that’s a large part of his life, so at their engagement session we HAD to get some photos with him, Heather, and his guitar. They sat on stump together, Kile played his guitar, and they just looked at each other and smiled. You could tell they’re sharing the same love for each other! Kile also sang, and played, to Heather at the wedding reception. The coolest part is that the song he played and sang he wrote just for Heather and the wedding day!
