As a wedding photographer The Mill District is a venue that I was very excited to be shooting a wedding at! It’s rustic, dreamy, and whimsical. Shooting in natural light is my specialty and The Mill District has many outdoor opportunities for soft, natural light and even better lighting at golden hour.
With a mixture of cobble stone buildings and hard wood buildings there’s not a sore looking spot anywhere on the property, so photo opportunities with a professional photographer are great, and so are photos on your guests’ phones. One thing that really stood out to me is the trees. The trees grow at different angles and are big and beautiful.
The Mill District also has picture perfect areas where the bride, bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen get ready for the day. There is an Airbnb on the property that is stunning on the inside for party members to get ready in, and there is a “post office” that is beautifully done for party members to get ready in also.
I am excited for the opportunity to shoot another wedding at this beautiful Indiana wedding venue!
